It is considered by UNESCO as one of the most beautiful cemeteries in Latin America and recognized as Cultural Heritage of the Nation. This museum is the oldest cemetery in Southamerica, which for its grandiose architecture and fine sculptures is valued by thousands of national and foreign visitors. It has been an open book of history, art and culture for more than two centuries.
The neoclassical complex contains the largest collection of 19th century European marble sculptures in Latin America. It is absolutely worth seeing!
